Participant Obligations

Participants are required to:

  • Respect the departure time and the planned schedule, adapting to any changes made by the guide;

  • Show up in appropriate physical and mental condition, with suitable clothing and equipment for the excursion. In case of doubt, consult the guide before the day of the hike;

  • Maintain disciplined behavior during the activity, respecting people and private property, and following the instructions provided by the guide;

  • Follow the designated path without straying or leaving the group, and without walking ahead of the guide;

  • Cooperate with the guide for the success of the excursion, supporting their decisions, especially in case of difficulties (environmental or related to participants), and promptly report any problems during the activity, particularly regarding one’s own physical condition or equipment;

  • Not pick flowers, plants or protected herbs and, in general, comply with the guide’s environmental guidelines;

  • Carry and dispose of personal waste properly in designated bins.

Each participant is personally responsible for any risky behavior, particularly if they act independently against the guide’s advice.

Declaration of Fitness

By accepting these regulations, the participant declares under their own responsibility to be in good health and physically and mentally fit for hiking. They also confirm they have informed the guide of any relevant health or personal condition that may affect their ability to participate.

Mandatory Equipment

  • Layered clothing

  • Long hiking pants (preferably light-colored)

  • High-ankle trekking boots in good condition

  • Waterproof jacket and/or rain poncho

  • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen

  • Comfortable, sturdy backpack

  • Packed lunch

  • At least 2 liters of personal water supply

Trekking poles are recommended.
Cotton clothing in direct contact with the skin is discouraged: prefer wool or technical hiking wear.

Participants who are not adequately equipped may be excluded from the hike at the sole discretion of the guide at the meeting point.

Dogs

Participants wishing to bring a dog must notify the guide at the time of booking to assess compatibility with the group and the route.
Admission of dogs is at the guide’s discretion, based on size, sex, temperament, and type of excursion.

Dogs in heat, or within two weeks of being in heat, are not allowed.
The dog must be well-behaved and easily controllable. The participant must bring the necessary gear to handle the animal (leash, muzzle, etc.).

The owner is fully responsible for ensuring their dog does not cause harm or disturbance to others, animals, or the environment.
Failure to inform the guide about the dog or non-compliance with the above may result in exclusion from the hike, even at the start.

Photos and Videos

Photos and videos may be taken during the excursion for promotional purposes and may appear on public platforms. Participation implies consent to their use.

Mobile Phones

Participants are asked to keep phones switched off. If this is not possible, ringtones must be disabled.
In case of urgent need, please inform the guide and step away from the group, remaining visible at all times.

GPS Tracking

Use of GPS devices for orientation is allowed, but participants agree not to share recorded tracks.

Acceptance of Rules

Participation in the excursion implies full acceptance of these rules.
The participation fee covers guide service only.
